As the Clinical Nurse Manager, collaborating with the General Manager, you’ll take the helm of this unique, brand-new hospital, building upon its existing legacy and continuing to support our local community. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare, making a tangible difference in the lives of individuals in Southland & Otago.

Working closely with the General Manager, you'll be the heartbeat of our hospital, leading with empathy, clinical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to excellence. You'll have the opportunity to shape the nursing department, drive quality patient care, and inspire a team of passionate healthcare professionals.

About You:

Success in this role requires more than just skills; it demands passion and dedication to go the extra mile. Here are the key qualities we're looking for:

  • Significant postgraduate clinical practice, particularly in Operating Theatre nursing
  • Proven leadership ability and a deep understanding of quality improvement processes
  • Empathy, patient-focused mindset, and a relentless pursuit of excellence
  • Knowledge and appreciation of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and its impact on healthcare
