Southern Milk Transport are looking for an experienced Dispatcher to join our Whanganui team to play a key role in ensuring the smooth, timely, and efficient collection and delivery of milk from farms to processing facilities. Southern Milk Transport is the transport division for Open Country Dairy. The Dispatcher (Shift Supervisor) is based in Whanganui and is a permanent role working 4 shifts on followed by 4 days off.
Key responsibilities include;
- Managing the shift, supporting the drivers to effectively and safely collect and deliver milk.
- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Communicate effectively with Open Country Dairy’s valued farmers and key stakeholders.
- Delegate tasks efficiently and fairly.
- Proactively solve challenges and adapt to changing situations.
