What You’ll Be Doing
- Servicing and maintaining our diverse fleet.
- Providing mechanical expertise across a wide range of vehicles and equipment.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults from clutches to exhausts.
- Carrying out pre COF inspections and road tests.
- Modifying and building machinery to suit operational needs.
- Light engineering tasks including fabrication and electrical repairs.
- Working closely with drivers and supervisors to keep our fleet safe and reliable.
We are looking for
- Level 4 or 5 National Certificate in Automotive Heavy Engineering
- 2+ years’ experience as a diesel mechanic (waste industry experience a bonus!)
- A knack for problem solving, a team first attitude, and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Good time management in a fast paced environment.
- Flexible, adaptable, and ready to tackle whatever rolls into the workshop.
- Experience with FleetPro or similar an advantage but not essential.
